Album Review: Chase Shakur – It’ll Be Fine

Let’s dive into Chase Shakur, a rising star that has since captivated millennials and Gen Z by exhibiting nostalgia and soft tunes.

During the pandemic, Chase gained buzz after previous music releases like “Speed” and “Pray Slow. The Atlanta native made his debut in June 2022. His EP titled “It’ll Be Fine” grapples his audience with ardent vocals and romantic flows that guarantee a soulful journey. Chase was infamous for creating art that gave peace of mind to know everything would be okay in the end. One of the songs that set the blueprint for the album is “You Need an Angel.” It is a dedication to his friend that passed a few years prior.

Mister Shakur has a mutualistic relationship with the art of making music for his fans. He understands the assignment by giving his fans new music while maintaining his signature sound. Shakur found himself through his melodies which gave him relief on how to convey his feelings towards different situations. This is what inspired Chase Shakur the courage to fulfill the foundation of the EP. So, what’s next for the upcoming artist? Currently, there are no dates or events where Chase Shakur will perform his EP. On the other hand, Chase Shakur uploaded a teaser on his YouTube channel hinting a new single is on the way this upcoming year that will keep his fans on edge to emerge as the premier star in the future in R&B.
