We held a unique "Listening While Muslim" seminar for a sold-out crowd at Creative Grounds DC during our 2023 Words Beats & Life Festival. Asad Ali Jafri and Abdul-Rehman Malik, our hosts, introduce and dissect music from a variety of genres; hip-hop, traditional, funk, R&B, and jazz, highlighting the Islamic influences and contributions to popular music.
