The Peabody Hip Hop Summer Intensive is where young artists lock in — training at a conservatory level, building with their skilled creative peers and working directly with some of the best in the field.

This weeklong program brings you into one of the most respected music institutions in the country — the first conservatory to offer a Bachelor of Music in Hip Hop — for an immersive experience rooted in creation, performance and cultural depth. Whether you’re a rapper, producer, turntablist or beatboxer, this is a space to sharpen your sound, push your style and elevate your artistry in real time.

Program Overview

A one-week immersive program for teen artists ready to grow in a focused, high-level environment. Each day blends technical training, creative development and collaboration — grounded in hip hop’s history and global influence.

Students Train Across Four Tracks:

  • Rap performance

  • Turntable performance

  • Beatbox performance

What You’ll Experience

  • Intensive daily study: Train from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

  • Personalized mentorship: Direct feedback tailored to your flow, technique or production style

  • Masterclasses + workshops: Learn performance, stagecraft and industry insight from working artists

  • Cultural + global context: Ground your work in hip hop’s history and worldwide influence

  • Collaborative innovation: Build and experiment alongside other serious young artists

  • Live performance access: Attend high energy evening sets at 7:00 PM by faculty and guest artists

  • Final concert: Perform your work in a culminating student showcase featuring surprise guest artists
